Southgate RFC’s men’s team is kicking off its pre-season training on Wednesday 15th July at Broomfield Park, Palmers Green.

Fresh from celebrating its centenary year, Southgate RFC are kicking things off under new club captain Doug Cusack at their new home of Broomfield Park, Palmers Green, where the side will also be playing their home matches for the forthcoming 2026/27 campaign. “After winning a cup last season, we want to build on that and get a league title,” said Doug.
“Pre-season is a good time to welcome new players too, so we’re hoping our new home in Palmers Green will see a few new faces.”
Southgate RFC will be competing in the Middlesex Merit Tables in the forthcoming campaign and, as North London’s most social rugby club, welcome players of all standards, including adult beginners.

Training starts at 7pm, taking place in front of the concrete steps near the playground in the main bowl of Broomfield Park. There’s no cost for training so please just come along to give it a go. For more information contact Southgate Rugby Club.
