Vets rugby is open to all. Social-first rugby is at the heart of the rugby player, making it a welcoming place for everyone, whether you’re a grizzled vet with hundreds of games under your belt, or a complete novice that’s never played the game. It’s never too late to play rugby – the oldest vet in the country is 85 years old!

For those that want to train, some of us join our 1st XV for training on Wednesday evenings from 7pm, but it’s entirely for those that want a run out to forget your troubles on a Wednesday evening.

For those that don’t, we arrange around six vets games a year against other vets teams. We play 30 minutes each way, and the focus is very much on the social side.

When we play:

Training (if you fancy it): 7pm-3.30pm, every Wednesday
Matches: Saturday afternoons/Friday nights (six times a season)

Where we play: Broomfield Park, Palmers Green (by the concrete steps)

How much does it cost? Training is free, matches are £10 (which includes post-match food).
